An energy centre for the district administration and a hotel complex were newly built on the Karl Kurz site. The contract included the installation of a hot water boiler with a CHP connection, integration of the buffer tanks and the district heating pump station. For the cooling supply a split refrigeration machine with reserve space, the integration of the cold water buffer storage and the district cooling pump station were installed.

Stadtwerke Erlangen built a heating and cooling center for the power supply of the new Siemens Campus in Erlangen. AGO AG realized the complete plant technology for the refrigeration center including generation, cold storage, free cooling as well as softening plants for adiabatic cooling. The heating system consists of 4 CHP modules with an electrical output of 2,096 kW each. For this purpose, AGO AG carried out the entire plant construction including replacement pressure maintenance for the district heating network.

For the Oettinger brewery, one ago congelo® absorption chiller each was installed at the Mönchengladbach and Oettingen sites to cool a refrigerant circuit. In both projects, the heating water of a combined heat and power plant is available as waste heat.

In order to increase the security of supply of the district heating system, the heating plant was extended by installing of two identical, natural gas-fired hot water boilers with a total thermal output of about 16.8 MW inside a new building. Also included in the scope of supply were the necessary connections to the existing systems of the heat plant such as heating water flow/return flow, gas supply and drinking water.

Barely twelve months passed between the order confirmation to AGO AG until the implementation of the new Energy Center II in Dresden. This is a record-breaking time considering that all tender procedures and construction designs for the project in the value of 22 million€ as well as all installation work was carried out. Hot water heating facility with thermal power station and heat exchangers operated by natural gas and heated with 10 bar saturated steam from gas engines and steam boilers.

A Greek company designed the building and the boiler plant, currently with 75 MW (final stage approximately 115 MW).
